Christina rounds out a day of workshops and coaching with a house concert in Albuquerque. The concert will present music from Christina's extensive collection of Moldavian music collected from books, old commercial recordings, and field recordings. This is a chance to hear music that doesn't fit neatly into the category of klezmer, but also doesn't conform to the most commonly heard musica lautareasca, or state folklore orchestral norms. The music is presented in a more village-y style that reflects the times and places it was collected. The program will introduce the audience to Christina's musical teachers, and present music not generally accessible to American audiences.
